Zarautz, Spain

We planned to never come back to this place after getting broken into about 2 months ago, but we have somehow made it back to Zarautz because of the Zarautz Pro 6 Star WQS. Eric and I both got into the contest but lost our heats but have been finding out it can be a pretty fun place. Its interesting because 99% of the people who come here really enjoy this place, but us on the other hand, we have such a negative connotation for the place that at first it was hard to enjoy this place. Now that we have been here for a couple of days and taking a more positive outlook on the place, it does not have such a negative feeling for me and I actually like the place. We are here for one more day and then heading up to France for a few days to surf Capberton where we hope it is fully pumping. Then we head down to Portugal for another 6 Star. But for now we just cruise in the RV and make mashed potatos, take a look at the video.

August 26, 2010 Pantin, Spain

So we are here in Pantin, Spain right now for the Pantin Classic, we got here a couple days ago after traveling down from England and stopping by in Lacanua, and Capberton. We got good fun waves in both places. The waves in Pantin have been pretty fun but nothing too great. Eric and I both had our heats on the first day but we lost in our first rounds. The competition in the 6 star events are at another level and its pushing both of us. We are staying here for the rest of the day and then leaving to drop Chris off in Bilboa, Spain for his trip up to England. We will then head to Zarutz for our next contest, maybe go to france for a bit before then. Hopefully we can find some time to repair our RV after our little accident in England.
