About the Director, Writer and Cinematographer of Going Pro

 

Aloha! My name is Andre Oziol, and I am an adventurer, filmmaker and aspiring professional surfer from Maui, Hawaii. Throughout my life, I developed a passion in both surfing and film. As I continued to explore these interests, I knew I wanted to create something out of the epic adventures I had as I travelled and surfed. I hope to continue living my life to its fullest potential and grow on my road to going pro. 

 

Going Pro came to life while I was on the road with a few friends. I decided to document our trip as we embarked on our journey of becoming better surfers. Along the way, I learned a lot about myself and who I wanted to be as not only a surfer but also as a person. The film is a documentary feature, which I hope to release by early next year. Currently, I am working on promoting the film as a whole. I want to impact others to follow their passion and never give up on their dreams to be successful.
